About

This Grade II* listed Palladian Style Mansion, set in 163 acres of rolling countryside has a past inextricably linked with Royalty.
As the grounds where a former hunting lodge was located, played host to clandestine meetings between Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII to more recent regal associations that included the Queen Mothers royal visit to the Palace in 1982. This culminated in the most auspicious Golden Jubilee Celebrations for HM The Queen and HRH Prince Philip where the Palace hosted a banquet in July 2002.

With 300 guests in attendance, the ‘great and the good’ were treated to a culinary masterpiece here at the Palace. With Champagne and Canapes served to her Majesty and Prince Philip in the Great Hall followed by a banquet for the esteemed dignitaries in the Royal Marquee it was a truly spectacular occasion fondly remembered by all lucky enough to be in attendance.
