Picture a venue in the heart of Surrey, set in 163 acres of rolling countryside with a Palace as a backdrop to boot and yet within 30 minutes from central London - then you would be conjuring up an image of the palatial, grand and historic Addington Palace. Dating back to 1776, the Palace has always provided hospitality for the "great and the good". With a history that pre-dates the doomsday book to in more recent times serving no less than six Archbishops of Canterbury as their very grandiose summer residence. Present Day, Addington Palace provides one of the most exclusive, charming and endearing Asian Wedding Venues.

With the sheer splendour of the Palace coupled with the functional and versatile space provided by the Royal Marquee (Royally named due to HM The Queen's luncheon visit in July 2002 as part of her Golden Jubilee Celebrations), a De-Boer solid structure that can not only accommodate up to 750 guests but has the added advantage of a fully integrated kitchen facility, luxury toilets and bar. In addition to this, the venue also boasts parking for up to 500 cars – a huge plus when it comes to Asian Weddings!! The Marquee can be hired independently of the Palace or, for that extra special occasion, in conjunction with. The Palace provides the ideal setting for reception drinks and canapés whilst the marquee is in its element when hosting ceremonies or the reception itself.

The venue is also incredibly flexible, permitting all external caterers whilst also having the ability to recommend those 'tried and tested Asian caterers' in Punjabi, Gujarati, Muslim and Bengali markets. Furthermore, the Palace does not charge corkage on any soft or alcoholic drinks brought in to the venue and being sensitive to the needs of the Asian market offers hires for up to a 12 hour-period. Package

The hire fee for a single function is £8,000.00 and for a Double function is £10,000.00*. The Marquee hire includes:

Access to set up from 8am (Double Function Only)
12 Hour Hire Period – your event hire is based on up to 12 hours hire between the hours of 8am until midnight. Sunday – Thursday functions must finish by 11pm.
75 Round Tables
10 Trestle Tables for serving food
500 Gold Gilt Chairs
250 Black and Silver Chairs
Use of Kitchen Facilities
Event Manager
Car Park Attendants
2 Kitchen Porters

Whilst the hire fee of the Royal Marquee does not include access to the Palace, we are able to offer, subject to availability and hire fee of £10,000 for the Palace.

'*A Single Function - 12 Hour Hire Period inclusive of Access, Set up and Clearing of the venue i.e. 8.00am – 8.00pm
A Double Function - 12 Hour Hire Period. The function can run for 12 hours between the hours of 8.00am – Midnight on a Friday and Saturday and from 8.00am – 11.00pm on Sunday - Thursday. Access will be granted to suppliers (caterers and decorators) from 8am.'
