Picture a venue in the heart of Surrey, set in 163 acres of rolling countryside with a Palace as a backdrop to boot and yet within 30 minutes from central London - then you would be conjuring up an image of the palatial, grand and historic Addington Palace. Dating back to 1776, the Palace has always provided hospitality for the "great and the good". With a history that pre-dates the doomsday book to in more recent times serving no less than six Archbishops of Canterbury as their very grandiose summer residence. Present Day, Addington Palace provides one of the most exclusive, charming and endearing Asian Wedding Venues.

With the sheer splendour of the Palace coupled with the functional and versatile space provided by the Royal Marquee (Royally named due to HM The Queen's luncheon visit in July 2002 as part of her Golden Jubilee Celebrations), a De-Boer solid structure that can not only accommodate up to 750 guests but has the added advantage of a fully integrated kitchen facility, luxury toilets and bar. In addition to this, the venue also boasts parking for up to 500 cars – a huge plus when it comes to Asian Weddings!! The Marquee can be hired independently of the Palace or, for that extra special occasion, in conjunction with. The Palace provides the ideal setting for reception drinks and canapés whilst the marquee is in its element when hosting ceremonies or the reception itself.

The venue is also incredibly flexible, permitting all external caterers whilst also having the ability to recommend those 'tried and tested Asian caterers' in Punjabi, Gujarati, Muslim and Bengali markets. Furthermore, the Palace does not charge corkage on any soft or alcoholic drinks brought in to the venue and being sensitive to the needs of the Asian market offers hires for up to a 12 hour-period. Single Function - £8,000.00

This hire package covers a hire period of twelve hours inclusive of access, set-up, event and clear. i.e. 8am until 8pm. This is ideal if you wish to have a ceremony only or maybe an evening reception.

Double Function – £10,000.00

Access from 8am until Midnight (11pm Sunday to Thursday), giving you the opportunity to have not only your Asian Ceremony but a leisurely lunch and refreshments with a turnaround of the venue for the evening reception with dinner and entertainment in the Marquee. This provides you with a 'one stop shop' maximising the potential of the venue for not just the formalities of the wedding ceremony but the more relaxed party atmosphere for the evening reception too.

Dual Hires – Price available upon request

With the palatial splendour of the Palace hard to ignore, couples are increasingly looking to use the Palace for Civil Ceremonies, smaller Hindu ceremonies or for reception drinks and canapés on arrival of guests. With eleven stunning rooms, it is also ideal for photographs and as luxurious lounges for your guests to use throughout the day. Changing Rooms are also available on the first floor, a must for all Asian Weddings! The Palace provides you with the flexibility of being used in conjunction with the Marquee and the various elements of the wedding celebrations. It is also perfectly suited for guests to retire to in-between the Asian Ceremony and the turnaround of the marquee venue for the evening reception. Alternatively, to simply impress you guests, it may be used merely on arrival as a stunning introduction to your day before entering the marquee.
