Located on the lawn to the rear of the Palace, and next to the historical Cedar of Lebanon tree, the Royal Marquee is a permanent structure available throughout the year. A modern alternative to a traditional tented marquee, The Royal Marquee is double glazed to give a conservatory feel, making it suitable for all weathers. – Fitted with a bar and air cooling/heating systems, fully carpeted and with fixed internal toilet and kitchen facilities, why hire a Marquee when we have one permanently within our grounds!

The Royal Marquee is suitable for Wedding Receptions of more than 200 guests.

There is adequate outdoor space for photos, a drinks reception, barbeque and children’s bouncy castle should you wish to arrange one! A free car park is assigned within our Marquee packages, providing spaces for up to 250 cars. Car park attendants will be provided to great guests.

The Marquee is fitted with gold dimmer chandeliers and is lined with cream fabric, with the added benefit of matching moveable partitions. This means the venue can accommodate for functions in Autumn and Winter months as the Marquee has a separate area inside to use for a drinks reception, cloakroom or games to entertain the children! A moveable dance floor is also available, allowing you to change the layout and dimensions to suit your requirements.

A changing room is located within the Marquee, fitted with mirrors, sofas and plenty of natural light, allowing brides the opportunity to invite their hairdressers and make-up artists to get them ready before the reception.

It is our philosophy to make the organisation and running of your wedding reception as smooth and as stress free as possible. With that in mind we offer a range of packages that incorporates all major components of your big day. Our team of Chefs can offer a choice of mouth watering cuisines including European and Caribbean.

The Royal Marquee is also available on a hire-only basis, allowing you to bring in preferred external caterers. The Marquee can be hired to cater for up to 750 guests. We will provide the furniture for the day, including tables for seating, trestle tables and chairs, as well as an Event Coordinator who will work with you to assist in the planning for the day. All packages include the venue hire fee for the Royal Marquee, an Event Manager, free onsite Car Parking and Attendants.
